While many visitors know the venues for their popular gigs and performances, the food and drink offering has become an important part of what makes both spaces special. From relaxed daytime lunches and sweet treats in The Albert Halls Café Bar to carefully curated seasonal dining experiences through the Tolbooth Supper Club, there is something for audiences, community groups and local food lovers alike.
“We want people to see The Albert Halls Café Bar and Tolbooth as more than somewhere to grab a quick drink before a show,” says Bar & Catering Manager Kevin Brolly. “Food and hospitality are a big part of the experience we offer and we’re proud to create spaces where people can come together; whether that’s for live music, lunch with friends or community activities.”
Open Tuesday to Friday 10am-4pm, The Albert Halls Café is a bright and welcoming space in the centre of Stirling. Whether visitors are stopping in for coffee and cake, meeting friends for lunch, the café has become a valued gathering place for the wider community.
A wide range of community groups regularly use the venue, including a Dementia Friendly singing group by Stirling Carers, weekly English classes run by Forth Valley Welcome and a local book group.
Kevin added: “The café has become a real community space. We’re proud to welcome such a wide range of groups through the doors each week, and it’s important to us that the venues feel inclusive, welcoming and accessible to everyone.”

The café and Tolbooth Supper Club work hard to champion local produce and suppliers wherever possible. The team is committed to sourcing locally and supporting producers from across the region and has taken the Forth Valley Five Local Produce Pledge.
“Using local suppliers wherever we can, is really important to us,” says Kevin. “Not only does it help us deliver fresh, high-quality food, but it also means we’re supporting other local businesses and showcasing some of the best produce available across Forth Valley.”
Both venues work with a range of local suppliers including Skinners, Milk & Honey, Harviestoun Brewery, Allanwater Brewhouse, Wild Hearth Bakery, Upper Ballaird and Ginger Roots.
The Albert Halls café menu is designed to be affordable and accessible, offering visitors high-quality food and drink at reasonable prices in a relaxed and welcoming environment. With a wide variety of lunch options, ranging from £5 to £8.
Alongside the regular café menu, the team also provides outside catering for events and functions, bringing the same focus on quality local ingredients and friendly service beyond the venue itself.
Running quarterly alongside the Tolbooth’s acclaimed live music and events programme, Tolbooth Supper Club brings people together over globally inspired dishes, from Thai to Italian and everything in between.
Guests enjoy seasonal menus made with quality local ingredients, served long-table style to create a relaxed, sociable atmosphere where food and conversation naturally come together.
“The supper club is about creating an experience that brings people together over their love of good food,” explains Kevin. “People already know the Tolbooth as a fantastic live venue, and this gives audiences another way to enjoy a night out while discovering great local food and drink. It’s a carefully curated four-course menu with drinks pairing, making it a really memorable dining experience.”
Together, The Albert Halls Café and Tolbooth Supper Club connect food, music and community, championing local suppliers and creating welcoming spaces at the heart of Stirling’s cultural scene.
