Stacey’s love for baking traces back to her childhood, where she spent cherished moments with her Granny creating delightful cakes.
She said: “My love of baking started at a very young age. I have very fond memories of creating cakes with my Granny.”
The support of her family has been unwavering. She added:
“My family are very supportive to this day and are now my chief taste testers!”
Stacey rediscovered her love for baking as an adult, sparked by the design of a special cake for her fiancé, Colin.
She added: “Everyone loved the cake, and it gave me the idea to set up my own business.
“But it wasn’t until my daughter Kayla was born and I created her 1st birthday cake, that I finally took the plunge. I haven’t looked back since.”
Stacey loves the fact that no two days, or two cakes, are the same.
She said: “I love the challenge of creating and coming up with a bespoke design for my customers.
“The delighted look on their faces when they see they final piece is just magic.”
Running her own cake designing business has allowed Stacey to indulge her creative side.
She said: “I started a sugar craft course, and I absolutely loved it.
“Creating delicate, intricate designs and bringing them to life brings me so much joy.
“I take the time to really understand what my customers are looking for and then take them through the design process to ensure they are completely happy before I get to work.
“My goal is not just to meet, but to exceed their expectations.”
Giving back to the community is important to Stacey. She proudly sponsors her local team.
She explained: “I love where I live and sponsor Stirling Albion’s Girls’ Football Academy – recently covering the cost of their hoodies.
“Creating cakes for their bake sales is also one of my favourite ways to help!”
