The filmmaking initiative aims to support and elevate the local food and drink scene as the Royal Burgh of Stirling’s prepares to celebrate its 900th anniversary.

“This funding represents a tremendous opportunity to not only showcase our exceptional local offerings but also to contribute to the broader success story of Scotland’s food and drink industry.”
The Regional Food Fund, managed by Scotland Food & Drink, aims to support regional growth by providing support for projects to promote and sell products from their areas.
Head of Regional Food at Scotland Food & Drink Fiona Richmond said:
“It is fantastic to once again deliver the Regional Food Fund and support 22 exciting projects across Scotland. Forth Valley’s food and drink activity brings so much to the region and the hard work of those involved deserves to be celebrated. We are excited to be supporting this project and look forward to seeing the films come to life at a key moment in history for the burgh.”
Other regional initiatives to receive funding this year range from food festivals and trails to markets and online shops, all contributing to the promotion of regional products and the establishment of new markets.

Forth Valley’s food, drink and tourism sector has been firmly in the spotlight following a highly successful Food, Drink and Tourism Business Month 2026, which brought together businesses, partners and future talent from across the region.
